I know I've been AWOL this past week and it's been a hectic one for me. I did a bunch of designs but I just kind of hated them all and didn't even bother taking pics. So I was on this blog: hellogiggles and I saw a tutorial for cheetah nails. I had never done them before and I don't have a Bundle Monster plate for it so I basically stayed away from anything that I had to do too freehand because my right-handed painting sucks...yes, this mean's I'm left handed! So, needless to say, I've been working on it and my painting skills are much less shaky now! YAY. Since I've been getting better at it I decided to try this design out.
And to prove to you that I CAN paint my opposite hand I took a picture!
My apologies for the quality. I'm using the iPhoto feature on my Mac until I get a hold of the battery I need for my camera.
The colors I used for this mani are ULTA Base Coat, OPI La PAz-itively Hot Matte for the overall color, OPI Black Onyx and Essie Turquoise & Caicos for the Cheetah spots. I topped it all of with a coat of GNP 90 second nail dryer.
As soon as I post this I'm taking it off and trying another design. I've got no idea what I want to do but I'm thinking something sparkly!
it's all about the nail play

my camera is broken..
...ok, so it's not really broken. the battery is just dead, but this means that, for now, all of my pictures will be from my bb and will not have the greatest quality. So, my apologies, and without further ado todays NOTD:
So, for this mani I used OPI's Pirates Collection Mermaid's Tears as my base. In pictures I thought it was going to look like Essie's Turquoise & Caicos or China Glaze's For Audrey, this was not so. It actually has a mossy-er base and is less intense, but still pretty. On my ring finger i used a faux-nad plate of a skull to keep with my theme. The skull was done with OPI's Black Onyx. For the rest of my fingers I did a light and even coat of OPI's Bring on the Bling from their Burlesque line. I finished it all up with a quick topcoat of GNP 90 second polish dryer, which you can find HERE. I linked you all to it because it's a little hard to find, but SO worth it since IMO it's just as good as Seche Vite but much less expensive.
I loved this mani so much that I actually had it on for almost a week, which is a really long time for me!

Water Marbling.
my left hand
my right hand
Hello, blog-world!
So I just graduated from college and find myself with copious amounts of free time. I've been rolling the idea of a blog around in my mind for quite some time now, and I figured now that I have the time I might as well try it out.
Mostly this blog is going to be all about the nail designs I want to try/create and I hope that you will all share you ideas and tips with me so that I can learn as well!
First uploads to come soon!
